Little Italy was founded in 2006 by Luigi and his late wife, Albana. They are originally from Albania and came to the United States in the 1990s. After years in California and Texas, Luigi and Albana settled in Abilene with their 4 children and opened Little Italy. Ever since, customers have loved the authentic Italian dishes plus Luigi's famous bread! This bread recipe was handed down from his mother (a baker) and is an old family recipe.
